The former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy is chief minister once again. A producer, exhibitor and distributor of films former Chief Minister HDK will be playing the chief minister role in ‘Shivakashi’ Kannada film. He will be appearing in the song for the film and confirmed his dates. The shooting of this song featuring former CM HDK will be held on 30th of April.

In ‘Yediyuru Siddalingeshwara’ Kannada film HDK came before the camera for a message scene. But appearing in a song as former Chief Minister is for the first time in his career.

In the past former chief minister Ramakrishna Hegde appeared in two films ‘Marana Mridanga’ and
‘Praja Shakthi’. He was not the chief minister when he played interesting roles in the two films.

‘Shivakashi’ starring Ajith of ‘Patre Love Padma’ has Manasi as heroine. Produced by Mahadevaiah, directed by Ramprakash the film is in the making since one and half years.
